The Fisker Karma - Eco Car

The Fisker Karma, one of the world’s first production plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, creating a premium green car segment in which most major manufacturers have since announced they would compete.

Fisker originally intended to sell the Karma in late 2009 but after repeated delays the Environmental Protection Agency certified the car’s vehicle emissions and drive range in October 2011 and thereafter Fisker commenced delivery of production vehicles in the USA.

Recycled Skateboards - Moose Head

Haroshi makes his art pieces recycling old used skateboards. His creations are born through styles such as wooden mosaic, dots, and pixels; where each element, either cut out in different shapes or kept in their original form, are connected in different styles, and shaven into the form of the final art piece.

Reused Glass Lamshade

This lampshade was spotted at Upstairs On The Square, Winthorp Sq, Cambridge, MA. The lampshade was made by reusing glass bottles, filling them up with a red coloured water and then tied around a lightbulb.

Big Belly Solar Compactor

This recycle bin was spotted on Charles Street, Boston. This is the first time I have ever spotted a recycle bin of this type. It is a very cleaver idea as it also reduces the number of times the bin has to be emptied.
