Clean Energy Now - Greenpeace

30 November 2007, Central Java (Indonesia).

Hundreds of people stood together to create an image of " Clean Energy Now with a human wind turbine" on the site of a proposed nuclear power plant in the town of Muria.

The Indonesian government is forging ahead with plans to build its first nuclear power plant in the shadow of a dormant volcano despite mounting opposition from residents and enviromental groups.

Why is it so difficult for govs to recognize the impracticality of nuclear power rated by cost of construction waist impact and consequence of potential failure?. Compared to the cost of providing a retrofit of there populations dwellings with wind, solar, solarhydrothurmalelectricintercoupledhottubbathoverflowingtogravityirrogatedbiofoodproducingmethanecollectingtoafuelcellgreenhouses
OK the last one is a mouth full but represents the vast possibilities for how existing technology's can coupled together to maximize human survivability.the key point is moving away from the large farm (wind, solar, food, shopping mall,& ext.)mentality adopted a long time ago because that those in control want to promote for the reasons of keeping people connected to the grid and big business for the purpose of maintaining there fat pockets, this thinking is the same mind set that put the survival of man on this planet in peril in the first place and has contributed to all of the wars that leads to strife, poverty and all human suffering. Adopting the develop the individuals local suply system eliminates a vast array of ills,=less fuel use \trucking\packaging\travel to some stupid time waisting life robbing meaningless in the grand scope of things in whats truly important job the they wont need anymore=no pesticides in the food, and ext.
So we answer our question, they don't want to do what is best for all of mankind. They would rather do whats best for themselves, by keeping people dependant on there programs. This thinking is motivated by pure greed, the driving force behind most things mankind dose, even when it looks like charity.
