At home, around 80% of our light fixtures are the energy-saving type. And indeed, since their installation, we have been paying lower electricity bills. Don't be put off by those energy-saving light bulbs that are more pricey than the regular ones. You'll soon be able to cut down on huge energy costs, anyway.
